I'm sorry to hear this individual was disappointed, but it's NOT AT ALL FAIR - NOR ACCURATE - what s/he is saying. My mostly 5-star ratings would attest to that (2) it's a course by way of a study outline, which is organized by bullet points (approximately one bullet point per paragraph of text), and then a test bank of questions - to test your knowledge; (3) apparently, i went a little overboard on "selling" the certification at the end of the book (i will tone that down); but know this: the certification was not my idea, in the first place; an adult education teacher in California (who deserves a lot of credit for what she's doing) requested it; and it's not a bad idea (to be able to "prove" your knowledge); (4) don't let the unassuming / plain english style fool you (coverage of tasks and topics is there; i wouldn't be good with me if i didn't cover everything) Get this outstanding how-to book on bookkeeping, written by a nationally published CPA, with extensive bookkeeping, corporate and public accounting experience // *Covers ALL of the tasks: like Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Payroll, Payroll Taxes, Financial Statements... *Covers all ALL of the Topics: like Industry specifics; Insurance... >I
